RotaKids is a program for elementary school children to help build self-esteem and develop leadership qualities. These youngsters do service projects to benefit the community and the school. This program can be instituted in a public, parochial, or private school. It is most necessary to have:
1. The permission of the administration to launch a club.
2. Someone within the school to be the advisor.
3. A Rotary liaison person. {the actual leader of the club may be
either the advisor or the Rotary liaison or both}
4. The cooperation of the parents especially if you have an after
school or Saturday club.
A pledge has been developed for these youngsters to learn and to live by.
The RotaKids earn their pin learning the Pledge.
They earn their shirt by participating in s service project.
